主要从事流动地震观测,岩石圈结构成像,深部构造过程解析研究。目前主要研究兴趣是造山活动相关的俯冲-碰撞动力学过程,研究区域包括缅甸、伊朗、中国东北等地。2018-2021年主持基金委《特提斯地球动力系统》重大研究计划的重点支持项目,在缅甸开展流动地震观测和深部结构成像研究。在Science Advances、Nature Communications、Geology、EPSL、JGR、GJI、GRL、Gondwana Research、科学通报等国内外学术期刊发表论文40余篇。
